The former residence and clinic of Lin Kaitai (林開泰), a physician and poet in Xingang, built for him in 1932 by his father, the scholar Lin Weichao (林維朝). The clinic at the front follows Minnan practice while the house behind is laid out in Japanese style. Half of the clinic was demolished for road widening in 1993. The property was designated a county monument in 2016, donated by the family to the county government, and reopened after restoration in 2022 as Peigui Hall (培桂堂).
