Tang Gao Monument (唐高義士銅像) - Spectral Codex

A memorial to Tang Gao (唐高, 1929–1976), born Tang Lifa (唐立法), from Jiangsu province in China. He perished on the western trunk line near Xiangshan while saving an infant accidentally left on the tracks. On January 4th, 1976, while on duty, he came upon a baby abandoned in the path of a southbound train, threw the child clear into the grass beside the line, and was struck in the head by the train and killed. A bronze statue by Pu Haoming (蒲浩明) was erected beside the railway in 1977, and he was enshrined in the National Martyrs’ Shrine in 2010.
