Hsinchu Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (西門街耶穌聖心堂) - Spectral Codex

A Catholic church built in 1971. The Second Vatican Council decreed that overseas missionary work should strive for localization and this is put into practice here. Three buildings representing the Holy Trinity all integrate elements of traditional Chinese architecture. There are even ancestral tablets and a censer in the main hall.
