A military dependents’ village in Hsinchu City established for members of the ROCAF with funds raised by Soong Mei-ling’s Women’s League (婦聯會) in 1965. 264 households were registered here, in homes of timber beams, woven bamboo walls, and cement tile roofs that soon began to deteriorate. It was demolished around 2012 and turned into an impound lot. It was also known by the name Air Force No. 22 Village (新竹空軍二十二村). Shijian New Village (實踐新村) was immediately to the west.
