A military dependents’ village established for members of the ROCAF with funds raised by Soong Mei-ling in 1965. 264 households were registered here. It was demolished around 2012 and turned into an impound lot. It was also known by the name Hsinchu Airforce 22 Village (新竹空軍二十二村). Shijian New Village (實踐新村) was immediately to the west.
