The Jesus Saviour of the World Catholic Church, commonly known as Wufeng Catholic Church (五峰天主堂), stands in the village of Da’ai (大隘) in Wufeng, Hsinchu. Catholicism reached the township in 1955 through the Spanish Jesuit Sun Guodong (孫國棟), who ministered chiefly among the local Tayal and Saisiyat Indigenous peoples. He had the church built between 1955 and 1957; a Marian pavilion (聖母亭) greets visitors at the entrance, and a set of fourteen Stations of the Cross lines the interior.
