A short row of two-storey brick-and-timber shophouses on Provincial Highway 122 in Zhudong. Most of these structures date to the early Japanese colonial era when this Hakka frontier hamlet served as the camphor, timber, and tea entrepôt for the Indigenous Saisiyat and Atayal districts to the south. Built where the road from the lowlands meets the foothills of Wufeng Township, the street features eclectic façades blending Minnan arcades, neo-Baroque arches, and concave window framing.
