A temple dedicated to Xuantian Shangdi (玄天上帝) established around 1665, making it one of Tainan’s earliest temples venerating this deity. Commonly known as the “minor Shangdi temple” (小上帝廟) to distinguish it from the larger Beiji Temple, it holds significance as a semi-official temple, possibly with military origins by way of Ming loyalist general Lin Sheng (林陞). It has been designated a municipal monument since 1985.
