A small, rebuilt wooden hall on the trail above Lushan Hot Springs, on the former site of Mhebu (馬赫坡社), home of Mona Rudao (莫那魯道), leader of the Wushe Incident. A torii gate leads past a memorial stele and a cenotaph said to hold clothing he once wore. Inside are a few artifacts and a spirit tablet in the Han Taiwanese folk style, where visitors leave cigarettes, rice wine, and betel nut as they might at an ancestral hall. One local account holds that hot spring operators built the memorial to placate the spirits after a run of misfortunes followed development on Seediq graves and ancestral land.
