Kirigaoka Shinto Shrine (霧ケ岡社) - Spectral Codex
霧ケ岡社きりがおかじゃ

Established in 1932, this site enshrined 194 Japanese casualties of the Wushe Incident (霧社事件) of 1930. The remains of the dead were buried here in 1931, and the shrine’s enshrinement ceremony was held on October 26th, 1932, alongside a memorial service marking the anniversary of the incident. In the post-war period it was initially converted into a Confucian temple and later completely remodelled into Delong Temple (德龍宮). Only the torii, stone lanterns, and landscaping remain. It is often referred to simply as Wushe Shinto Shrine (霧社神社). Known as Kirigaoka-sha (霧岡社) in Japanese.
