One of the earliest settlements within Qingjing Farm (清境農場), established alongside Bowang New Village (博望新村) to house Yunnanese guerrilla veterans and their families resettled from the Burma-Yunnan borderlands in 1961. The village retains its low-slung brick houses and a small land god shrine, Shouting Temple (壽亭宮), with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. Yunnanese eateries still operate in the back lanes.
