A modest red brick, black-tiled compound at the rear of the Qingjing Farm Headquarters (清境農場場部) compound consisting of three single-storey buildings. The central unit served as Chiang Kai-shek’s quarters with the flanking buildings housing security personnel. Chiang visited the farm at least once, in 1963, to inspect the settlement of Yunnanese guerrilla veterans. The guesthouse has since been converted into staff housing for the Veterans Affairs Council, with only a fireplace and a few decorative items remaining from the original furnishings. A bronze bust of CKS stands in the parking lot in front of the headquarters.
