Màolín (茂林), formerly known as Duōnà (多納), is a remote mountain district in southeastern Kaohsiung. It is home to approximately 1,800 people, making it the least populous district on the Taiwanese mainland. It is the traditional homeland of the Rukai (魯凱族), one of Taiwan’s Indigenous peoples.
