Tiánliáo (田寮) is a sparsely populated rural district in Kaohsiung on the border with Tainan, surrounded by hills and deeply eroded badlands terrain along the border with neighboring Zuozhen. The district’s Moon World (月世界) scenic area is one of the most accessible points to view these formations, and small mud volcanoes are scattered throughout the landscape.
