A temple in Nantun originally established in 1797 as Litoudian Wenchang Shrine (犁頭店文昌祠). Together with the Wenchang shrine in Xiluo, it was one of the earliest temples dedicated to the God of Literature and Examinations in what was then Changhua County. It is located next to the historic Wanhe Temple and enshrines five Wenchang deities alongside Confucius and other figures. Despite primarily venerating Wenchang the temple also boasts two huge idols out front, one of Guangong (關公) and the other of a golden Buddha. It is officially known as Taichung City Wenchang Temple (台中市文昌公廟).
