A historic Mazu temple in Nantun built in 1726 by twelve local families, making it one of the oldest temples in the Taichung area. Also known as Litoudian Wanhe Temple (犁頭店萬和宮), it is considered to be one of Taichung’s “four great Mazu temples” and has been designated a municipal monument since 1985. The temple was damaged in the 921 Earthquake and restored in 2002, and its associated festivals are registered as intangible cultural assets.
