Vintage standalone theater in Huwei, Yunlin, originally named White House Theater (白宮大戲院). Founded by Zhou Guozhong (周國鐘) in 1972, and later managed by Huang Bingxi (黃炳熙), it remained in operation into the 2010s, making it one of the very few theaters of its era to survive. Ultimately it closed around when the coronavirus pandemic struck Taiwan.
The layout is unusual for a Taiwanese cinema, in that the entrance is along the side of the building, which may indicate the original façade is hidden behind residences to the north. It was also notorious for becoming a venue for adult entertainment at some point in its history.
After several disused years it was converted for use as a claw machine arcade.
