A small Mazu temple near Huwei Sugar Factory (虎尾糖廠) whose deity is known as Sugar Factory Mazu (糖廠媽). In 1956, sugar factory worker Huang Yongshun (黃永舜) invited Mazu from Lukang Xinzu Temple (鹿港新祖宮) to his dormitory for worship and a formal shrine was built in 1961. Since 2004 devotees have walked the roughly one hundred kilometers back to Lukang on foot for an annual pilgrimage, one of few processions to cross the Zhuoshui River heading north.
