A half-timber administrative building completed in 1931, blending Baroque and Romanesque elements in the imperial crown style (帝冠樣式) in Huwei, Yunlin. The first floor is made from red brick, supporting a second storey of exposed timber. During the 228 Incident crowds occupied the building, freed detainees, and seized weapons; the leader of the subsequent Huwei Airfield uprising was killed in front of the entrance. It served as Huwei Police Station from 1950 to 1989 and is now home to the Yunlin Hand Puppet Museum (雲林布袋戲館), a venue for the biennial Yunlin International Puppet Festival.
