A concrete aqueduct constructed around 1919 as part of the Pinglin Canal (平林圳), an irrigation system serving what is now the Nanping area of Fenglin. The sealed square culvert carries water from Shoufeng River (壽豐溪) across the North Qingshui River (北清水溪) and doubled as a pedestrian crossing. The canal was developed to support agriculture in the Hayashida immigrant village (林田村) established in 1914.
