A former golden age theater in Fenglin. Taifa is the second theater on this site; the original, Yuanhe Theater (元和戲院), was destroyed by arson. There is some uncertainty about the identification of this old theater, and there’s a chance it was demolished and replaced by the PXmart on the north side of Fenglin. Another possibility is that the original theater is still standing just south of the PXmart, having been extensively renovated into shops, storage, and simple apartments, some of which are now abandoned as of 2024.
