A World War 2 era Japanese military airfield in Fenglin Township (鳳林鎮), designated Hyashida Airfield (林田飛行場) by US forces. The roughly 1,500-meter dirt runway had no taxiways or revetments, suggesting use as an auxiliary or decoy airfield. Concrete rollers once used to compress the runway survive at a nearby land god temple (樹林尾伯公). Returned to farmland and civilian use after the war.
