A wartime material depot established by the Hualien Port Railway Department (花蓮港鐵道部) in rugged terrain south of Xikou Station (溪口車站) to avoid Allied bombing during World War 2. The sprawling facility included a garage, offices, warehouses, and a tunnel, serving as a supply hub for central and southern district railway operations. Decommissioned after the eastern line reconstruction, the site was largely forgotten until a Provincial Highway 9 widening project demolished the original entrance and office, briefly exposing the remaining warehouse structures to view in the early 2010s. Nowadays the remaining facilities are heavily overgrown and difficult to discern.
