A temple in Xiluo, Yunlin, dedicated to Master Ashan (阿善師), the deified martial arts master Liu Mingshan (劉明善, 1780–1867). A Zhao’an Hakka emigrant trained in Shaolin martial arts, he settled in Guangxing village in 1831 and established the Zhenxing martial arts hall (振興社), training local communities known as the Xiluo Seven Divisions (西螺七嵌) in self-defense. The temple was built in 1972 after a popular TV drama based on his life, Xiluo Qijian (西螺七劍), drew visitors to his grave. It houses the only idol of Master Ashan in Taiwan.
