Xiluo Guangfu Temple (西螺廣福宮) - Spectral Codex
西螺廣福宮

An old and beautiful temple in Xiluo, Yunlin, venerating Mazu in the main hall and Guanyin in the rear hall. Its date of establishment is likely 1760, although there is some debate about the precise year. It most recently underwent a complete reconstruction by master craftsmen in 1942. Taiwanese cypress was used extensively throughout the temple and the carvings are intricate. Heavily damaged in the 921 Earthquake and soon repaired.
