Not much is written about this former township office online but it certainly looks to be a post-war structure likely built on the site of an earlier Japanese colonial era incarnation. It was abandoned for many years in the 2010s but has recently been revitalized as Xihui Folk Museum (溪惠民俗舘), which displays artifacts related to the local area’s predominantly agricultural history donated by townspeople.
