A monument erected in 1931 by Dalin slaughterhouse workers to pacify the spirits of animals who gave their lives for human consumption. After the slaughterhouse relocated the stele was abandoned and buried in overgrowth for decades. It was rediscovered during construction of the new Dalin Fire Station (大林消防分隊) and cleaned up after a firefighter led a fundraising campaign. Access it on the left side of the fire station.
