Established in the important Amis Indigenous settlement of Tafalong in 1937, now within Guangfu, Hualien. This Shinto shrine was, like most others, abandoned after the war, but it wasn’t until 1972 that it was replaced by Futian Xietian Temple (富田協天宮). Some traces of the original shrine are rumored to remain in the area around back of the temple and, in an unusual twist, the spirits originally enshrined were later added to a side altar at the new temple. Likely known as Taparon-shi in Japanese.
