An unmanned railway station on the Taitung Line (台東線) originally established as Yamato Railway Station (大和停車場) in 1918 to serve a Japanese colonial settlement founded for sugarcane cultivation. The village of Yamato (大和) was renamed Dàfù (大富) after the war and the station followed suit. Downgraded from a staffed third-class station to an unmanned halt in 1986, it is among the least-trafficked stations on the entire railway network, averaging around 13 passengers per day.
