A World War 2 era Japanese military airfield in present-day Guangfu, referred to as Taiharo Airfielde (大巴塱飛行場) by US forces. Aerial reconnaissance photos show a paved runway was added within a two-month period. Revetments were scattered around the perimeter, some near the the sugar factory, and others on the adjacent riverbed. Returned to farmland and civilian use after the war. A runway in Fenglin served as the northern component of this airfield.
