Ruìsuì (瑞穗) is a rural township midway down the Huadong Valley of Taiwan. It is a regular stopover thanks to the roadside monument to the Tropic of Cancer, but it is also famous for its hot springs and archaeological sites, among them the Saoba Megaliths (掃叭石柱), a pair of Neolithic stone pillars dating back approximately 3,000 years.
