Originally known as Kenan New Village (克難新村), this Dachen Islands resettlement village has 118 households and 495 residents not long after it was founded in 1955. Thanks to many employment opportunities in the shipbuilding, ferry, and fishing industries it also attracted migrants from other Dachen Island new villages. The location seems a little vague after so many decades of renovation and urban renewal, but the community was generally centered on Beishanwei Lane (北汕尾巷).
