A small reinforced concrete tide gauge (量水標) on the reef below the south side of Qihoushan (旗後山) on Qijin Island, Kaohsiung. The Government-General installed it in September 1901 during its survey for the construction of Takao Harbour, measuring sea levels with a float in a central well against a matching gauge inside the harbour at Shaochuantou (哨船頭). It fell out of use after the war when the hill became a military restricted zone and was forgotten until a local historian identified it around 2020; whether the present structure is original or a later repair is unknown.
