The principal office building of the Taiwan Provincial Government, completed in 1957 as the first administrative hall of Zhongxing New Village and the core of the provincial government’s administrative special zone until the office was streamlined in 1998. Built in a quasi-International Style, it presents a symmetrical plan with a three-storey central building flanked by two-storey wings, facing the village entrance across a triangular lawn bearing a bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen. It was designated a county monument in 2011 and now houses the National Development Council (國家發展委員會) office for the Zhongxing New Village revitalization project.
