The former Taiwan Provincial Government Department of Communications (臺灣省政府交通處) in Zhongxing New Village, another of the office blocks designed by Yu Yuezhen (虞曰鎮) of Youchao Architects (有巢建築師事務所) showing strong influences of the International Style along Shengfu Road (省府路). It is immediately adjacent to the former Department of Construction. After the 1999 restructuring of the Provincial Government the department was absorbed into central transport administration and passed through several names, settling as the Ministry of Transportation and Communications Central Office (交通部中部辦公室). It was registered as a historic building in 2011.
