The former office of the Taiwan Provincial Government’s Department of Agriculture and Forestry (臺灣省政府農林廳) in Zhongxing New Village. It was designed by architect Yu Yuezhen (虞曰鎮) of Youchao Architects (有巢建築師事務所) and shows strong influences of the International Style. After the Provincial Government was downsized in 1999 the department was absorbed into central agriculture departments. The building was registered as a historic building in 2011 and now houses the Agriculture and Food Agency (農糧署).
