A former children’s amusement park on a hillside next to Shengji Temple in Keelung. It was likely established due to the popularity of the temple and nearby 18 Arhats Cave with families back in the 1980s or so. After closing some parts of the park were relocated to Zhongzheng Park (中正公園). Although less is written about this playground than the 18 Arhats Cave and the temple, they were likely all the work of the Guo family of Chinese medicine practitioners. Abandoned for decades now but recently resurfaced on social media, and it is generally part of the common memory of people growing up in Keelung in the 1980s and 1990s.
