基隆北白川宮能久親王紀念碑

Established in 1933 to commemorate the Japanese Prince Kitashirakawa Yoshihisa, who perished in Tainan in 1895 while involved in the invasion of Taiwan. After the war the inscription was defaced, which is how it appears today.
