Not much info is known about this particular Shinto shrine beyond its name, but we can infer that it was likely located near the modern village of the same name along Keelung Harbor. Several other Ebisu shrines were found in this part of Taiwan to provide comfort for fishermen plying their trade. It is also possible this might have been an alternate name for one of the other Ebisu shrines found in Keelung.
