An underground boat harbour near Gugang (古崗) in Jincheng, Kinmen, dug by army engineers working around the clock from 1961 to 1966 in the wake of the Second Taiwan Strait Crisis, to shelter the landing craft that carried supplies between Kinmen and Lieyu. Its A-shaped waterway, 357 meters long, 11.5 meters wide, and 8 meters high, could accommodate 42 small boats. Silting and its declining military value led to its abandonment in 1986, but it reopened to visitors in 1998 as part of Kinmen National Park (金門國家公園).
