Located on the north side of Hsinchu Park (新竹公園) and completed in 1936, this was originally an association hall (新竹州自治會館). In the post-war era it was repurposed for various uses, including an office for US military advisors. Since 1995 it has been home to a museum celebrating Hsinchu’s glass industry.
