One of 35 villages established for Dachen Islanders after their retreat to Taiwan in 1955. This one originally had 106 households and 422 residents engaged in farming. Most have since emigrated, leaving this village partly abandoned. Weiwu Temple (威武殿) on the northern outskirts of the village remains an important center of faith and likely sees more activity at annual reunions. Located very close to Rixin New Village (日新新村).
Warning: this location is abandoned, hazardous, or otherwise neglected and may be unsafe and even dangerous! Exercise appropriate precautions when visiting.
