One of 35 villages established for Dachen Islands residents after they retreated to Taiwan in 1955. This one originally had 108 households and 359 residents mostly engaged in farming. It is located immediately to the south of Baimu New Village (百畝新村). Both villages were mainly populated by Minnan-speaking people from Nanji Island (南麂島).
