Established in 1955, this is a rare example of a wooden church still standing in the Huadong Valley. After the congregation moved to a more modern building this old church was rented out to a small town newspaper and later a karaoke business. Local history enthusiasts have been hoping to see it restored but the structure was in rough shape. Luckily the owner was motivated to apply for subsidies and it seems that as of 2024 it has been fixed up.
