Established in 1972 by local doctor Chen Dafu (陳大福). It was, for a time, the foremost hospital in this part of coastal Changhua, and after the founder passed away, his son Chen Minhui (陳敏輝) took over. In the 2000s the remaining family members practicing medicine passed away, and the hospital closed, with the building watched over by former school principal Chen Mincong (陳敏聰). As of 2024 the front windows are mostly broken and access to the building is easy, although local kids have mostly trashed the place. Immediately next door is the first-generation Dafu Hospital (大福醫院), built in 1940. It has the appearance of a private mansion but was once a venue for the practice of medicine.
