A small spirit-medium temple in Dacheng, Changhua, enshrining a deified Japanese soldier titled Loyal Army Lord (忠軍府) whose statue bears a katana. The altar recounts that the figure first reached its mediums in dreams and trance, in time naming his origin near the former Shoroku Shinto Shrine opposite the Chulu Ranch (初鹿牧場) in Beinan, Taitung. After years of doubt the congregation chartered a tour bus to investigate the medium’s dreams and found the same Japanese marshal at Chulu Xietian Temple (初鹿協天宮), where Lord Wu (吳府千歲) had taken him in as a subordinate martial deity.
