二林洪若潭凶宅

A relatively luxurious countryside residence in Erlin that belonged to Hong Ruotan (洪若潭), who ran a factory making adhesive tape in the Changhua Coastal Industrial Park. In September 2001 he and his wife were found dead in a small incinerator in the garden, leaving letters claiming they had killed their three adult children and scattered the ashes at sea. No trace of the children was ever found and a court declared them deceased in 2009.
