小油坑

A fumarole field on the northwestern slope of Qixingshan (七星山) in Yangmingshan National Park (陽明山國家公園), at an elevation of about 805 meters in Beitou, Taipei. Although volcanic activity ceased long ago residual heat continues to build pressure deep underground, and trapped gases seep to the surface, releasing hot sulfurous gas and steam year-round. It is also one of the trailheads for the ascent of Qixingshan.
