Stone buddha No. 56 from the Taipei Shikoku Pilgrimage (台北四國八十八所靈場), depicting Kṣitigarbha (地藏菩薩) and originally associated with Taisan-ji (泰山寺). It rests in a modest shelter around 20 meters up a small trail next to the tomb of General Hu Zongnan (胡宗南將軍墓). Beware spiders on the path; it isn’t often visited!
