Completed in 1956 to honor the 70th birthday of Chiang Kai-shek, this hall in Yangmingshan became a private theater and ceremonial hall for the KMT elite. Later on it was converted for use by the Qingcun Cadre under the Ministry of National Defense (國防部青邨幹訓班). When the military vacated the space in the mid-2000s it was left to the elements and quickly decayed due to the sulfurous environment.
