A Chinese Renaissance building at the highest point of Houshan Park (後山公園) in Yangmingshan completed in October 1971. It was funded by Lǐ Jìnfā (李進發), an overseas Chinese businessman based in Japan, as a birthday gift for President Chiang Kai-shek and to mark the 60th anniversary of the Republic of China. The second floor was reserved as a VIP lounge for the Chiang family; Chiang Kai-shek himself never visited due to declining health, but Chiang Ching-kuo frequented the building for family gatherings during his tenure as premier. It has since cycled through various uses as a restaurant, exhibition space, and seasonal event venue. Nowadays it is disused and not open to the public.
